Nina's Gotcha Day is almost here .....

Its been almost a year to the day since Nina came to live with us. It feels like she has been here forever, not just a year.

I'm a little disappointed I haven't gotten further with the conversion in that year, but time, money and the weather have all conspired against me. It will be worth it in the end.

And actually, looking back through the blog, i've done loads, it was a lot of work just getting the inside back to a normal van, the seating was a lot of planning and work too. I think I can just about hold my head up :).

Next thing to do, and my main focus now, is to replace the back side windows, so that the leaks are fixed and I can work on the internal stuff through the winter without having to worry about it all getting damp and wet.

Nina had a job tonight, picking up some very large metal barrier panels, 12ft long by almost 7ft high, 8 in total, they had to go in on an angle, and took a bit of jigging around, but she coped and has them onboard right now, waiting to deliver them to their final destination. Going to miss all that space when the conversion is finished ! Thank you for the panels, Celine, by the way :).

Well, I will leave you with a photo I took the day we got Nina, about 10 minutes after she'd been driven on to the drive with no rear suspension ! Three wooden blocks either side seperating the body from the axle. Was a bit of a hard ride lol.

Happy Gotcha Day Nina !
